Following receipt of my brand new car, which arrived on a small transporter from Sheffield to place of work (Strathaven Area) the car looked great to the untrained eye, a little dirty from the travel, though in general looked good, problem arised when the gent who delivered it popped the boot open to show me the charging lead and gubbings in the boot we noticed, only what i can explain as the remains of the storage dock and every seagull meal stored in the boot seal, which the dealership kindly missed. on further inspection the same debris was found in the front skirt, window seals, charging port.
I a was bit peeved, though what can you do, i contacted the dealer who agreed to pay for the detailing and cleaning of the car to bring it back to its worthy glory!
Contacted Neil at NF Detailing the first day of getting it, the professional service and customer support was second to none, not knowing much about what's required, Neil walked me through the options with no heavy sales pitches etc, only non biased professional opinions and options were given, which i appreciated, as more often than not you get the sales punt not the service. Not with NF detailing, excellent service- Kudos!
Before speaking with Neil, I checked the NF Detailing Website to check services available and ceramic coating was on my mind, once speaking with Neil and options given with pros and cons to each service I made the decision to go with the coating to provide the required protection following the detailing to clean and polish to protect the paint work. Considering the condition it was in already, with only 9 miles on the clock at time of booking!
The booking was made with ease, as was the online payment mechanism and structure, deposit paid following email link then final balance on completion of the finished car. (Full receipts given via email through the online email system, handy for all you business/fleet owners)
On the day the works, Neil had given the car a thorough cleaning with various steps to ensure the surface is blemish free and the car is polished to restore the paint before applying the ceramic coating, to ensure best results.
Unfortunate for me, Neil rang me in the afternoon to inform me we could not carry out the final Ceramic Coating works due to the paint damage on the car, due to the debris and bird waste/droppings etching the laquor on the roof, which couldn't be rectified as its damaged beyond repair.
This is the outstanding level of professional and honest service you will get with NF Detailing. Neil could have easily continued and said nothing, in daylight I probably wouldn't have noticed till i got up and close and tried to wipe of the marks.
For what Neil did get done on the car was outstanding quality, Neil also kindly followed up with a full professional report, with application's used to rectify the damage and on the condition of the vehicles paint and condition.
That's the bad news, the good news is hopefully wont be long to get my replacement vehicle from the dealer and book in with NF Detailing and Coatings to have it thoroughly cleaned, polished and ceramic coated and see the finished results!!!
